The first solo work by Japanese percussionist Chihaya Matsumoto.
The first album of her Liddell series, which is based on improvisation.

Alice in Wonderland is based on the story of an English mathematician, Lewis Carroll, who improvised and told an acquaintance girl Alice Riddell. Chihaya Matsumoto's Liddell series is also a story of an improvised world of sounds. The gorgeous and delicate tone of percussion played by her reminds the brains of the audience of various lives, landscapes and feelings that have been forgotten.

Recorded in the hall in February 2018.

The title of the album is Shrinking Medicine, and the names of the soil organisms that make up the forest are the titles of the tracks. The smaller audience will feel the great breath of soil organisms they have never seen. Perhaps you will see beyond the darkness an unseen life that you cannot see with your eyes.

日本のパーカッショニスト、松本ちはやの初めてのソロ作品。
即興演奏を軸に活動する彼女のリデルシリーズ、第一弾アルバム。

不思議の国のアリスはイギリスの数学者ルイス・キャロルが、知人の少女アリス・リデルに即興でつくって聞かせた物語がもとになっている。松本ちはやのリデルシリーズも、即興で紡いでいく音世界の物語だ。華やかで繊細な彼女の奏でるパーカッションの音色は、聴衆の脳に様々な生命や風景、忘れていた感情を思い出させる。

2018年2月にホール録音。

縮み薬というアルバムタイトルが付けられ、森を作る土壌生物たちの名前がそれぞれトラックのタイトルになっている。小さくなった聴衆は、見たこともない土壌生物たちの大きな息遣いを感じることだろう。目では見ることの出来ない、まだ見ぬ生命の姿を暗闇の向こうに見ることだろう。
